Turkmen diplomats and high-ranking officials actively support the Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy in Central Asia and promote the prosperity of the region. This was announced today by the head of UNRCCA, Natalia Gherman at an international conference in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the work of UNRCCA. Ms. Herman noted separately the high professionalism of the representatives of Turkmenistan in international organizations such as the UN, IFAS, etc., and thanked them for their great contribution to strengthening cooperation in the Central Asian region. Thanks to their work and personal initiatives of President Berdymukhamedov, the Central Asian region remains an island of stable development and peace.Eziz OVEZOV
The head of the Center also noted the great importance of the UN resolution on the role of the Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy in Central Asia, which was adopted at the initiative of Turkmenistan, confirming the effectiveness of the organization's work and contributing to strengthening its positive impact on the region.
According to Ms. Gherman, over the past 10 years, the UNRCCA has expanded its activities and is paying more and more attention to the solution of such important tasks as the preservation of the Aral Sea and the stabilization of the situation in Afghanistan. In both cases, the Center receives a great deal of support from Turkmenistan in the area where dozens of important events that intensified the international dialogue in this direction were held only this year.
The head of the Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy in Central Asia paid special attention to the importance of Turkmenistan's neutrality, which largely reflects the ideals and principles of the organization's work.
"I am very glad that the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the creation of the UNRCCA coincides with the Day of neutrality of Turkmenistan," said Mrs. Gherman. - And the great importance is the fact that for the first time this year in accordance with the UN resolution the Day of Neutrality became an international holiday, which we will celebrate all together.
