Jiangxi and Central Asian countries are connected. The freight train departed from Nanchang International Land Port in East China's Jiangxi Province and headed to Central Asia. This was reported by China daily.
The train will connect the largest road border port of Khorgos in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in northwestern China with the capital of Tajikistan, Dushanbe. It will operate on a route that is 12 hours faster than driving through the Alatau Pass in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.
Among the goods that will be delivered by train are refrigerators, coffee machines, and plumbing fixtures.
