The total amount of export transactions at SCRMET exceeded $70.9 million in a week


Over the past week, over 70 million 944 thousand US dollars worth of goods were sold for export at the auctions of the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan.
For foreign currency, foreign participants in exchange trading, including from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Afghanistan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, bought desulfurized diesel fraction, carbamide, technical sulfuric acid produced by Turkmenhimiya Group, hydrotreated diesel fuel, liquefied gas, petroleum bitumen, heating oil, base oil, polypropylene from state concern Turkmennebit and Turkmengaz.
Bedding sets, cotton yarn and fabric were also sold to companies from the UAE, Turkey and Azerbaijan for foreign currency.
For the domestic market, domestic businessmen bought polypropylene, cotton yarn, handmade carpets and licorice root extract for a total amount of more than 42 million 79 thousand manats.
In total, 36 transactions were registered on SCRMET during the week.
