The International Horticulture Exhibition EXPO 2023 ended in Doha


The International Horticulture Exhibition EXPO 2023 has ended in the capital of Qatar.
It lasted 179 days and attracted many visitors. The exhibition was held under the auspices of the Bureau International des Expositions and the International Association of Horticultural Producers.
The event provided guests, including official delegations from participating countries, gardening enthusiasts, tourists, with the opportunity to visit ornamental gardens, take part in public debates, conferences, live performances and enjoy artistic and culinary performances in a designated area at Al Bidda Park.
As part of the closing ceremony of the EXPO, an awards ceremony took place, including the presentation of prizes to the countries with the most distinguished pavilions. Turkmenistan was awarded “bronze” among medium-sized pavilions for its invaluable contribution to the development of world design.
Turkey was recognized for its unique display of plants and flowers, while Japan stood out for the quality of its products.
Among the laureates are countries such as Oman, Sudan, Italy, Cape Verde, Algeria, Yemen and others.
