China launched a global campaign "Invest in China"

In order to activate foreign capital in its markets, China launched the global campaign “Invest in China”. This was reported by the Chinese international news channel CGTN.
The campaign was launched by Vice Chairman of the People's Republic of China Han Zheng.
“We invite businesses from all over the world to invest in China and develop in China. Investment in China is investment in the future,” he said, speaking to 140 entrepreneurs from 17 countries.
Events under the slogan “Invest in China” began last year. One of them took place in November at the Chinese International Exhibition of Imported Goods and Services in Shanghai.
In January, at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang spoke about China's wide investment opportunities. He emphasized that entering the Chinese market is an opportunity.
On March 19, the State Council of the People's Republic of China published a “road map” for attracting and developing foreign investment. The document envisages expanding access of foreign capital to the banking and insurance sectors, strengthening support for foreign investment in environmental activities and high-tech production. Companies will also be exempt from customs duties when importing equipment for organizing production.
As part of the “Invest in China” campaign, Chinese diplomatic missions around the world will hold regular presentations on the investment climate and the country’s opportunities. In China, special tours will be organized for entrepreneurs by region. The first of them starts on April 1 - the delegation will go to the central city of Chongqing.
