Pakistan's Oil Minister has stated his firm commitment to advancing the TAPI project


Ambassador of Turkmenistan Atajan Movlamov met today, March 26, with the Minister of State of Oil of Pakistan Musadiq Malikd in his office. The Ambassador conveyed congratulations to the Minister on taking office and highly appreciated his dedication.
Musadiq Malik expressed gratitude for the support and promised to support the partnership between the two countries. The Minister noted that the TAPI gas pipeline is a flagship project, and Pakistan intends to complete it.
It is noteworthy that during his previous tenure, the project received significant momentum in Islamabad, which led to tangible results, the Pakistani Press Information Department notes.
Malik assured that he is still determined to promote the project so that it does not lose momentum. Atajan Movlamov noted that meetings of the intergovernmental commission and working groups are scheduled for this year.
TAPI is a winning project for all parties involved, the Ambassador added, and invited Pakistan's oil minister to an energy investment forum that Turkmenistan will hold in Paris in April.
