Design diplomacy is being discussed at the Legprom CIS+ exhibition


In Moscow, at Gostiny Dvor, the four-day Eurasian exhibition-congress of light industry “Legprom CIS+” is taking place, its task is to strengthen the integration of the CIS countries. The exhibition introduces the best examples of the region's products, in particular textiles, fur, clothing and linen, bags and accessories, as well as technologies and equipment for their production.
All four days are accompanied by large-scale discussions. As part of the business program, a conference, industry meeting and seminars will be held, and a networking platform will be organized.
Interesting discussions took place in Gostiny Dvor on March 22. On this day, the All-Russian Museum of Decorative Arts organized a discussion platform dedicated to issues of industry cooperation and design diplomacy between member states of the Commonwealth countries.

One of the events of this day was the session “Designers and light industry of the Commonwealth countries: opportunities and challenges.” The participants discussed the positioning of Eurasian brands in the international arena, the main problems and challenges of industry cooperation between countries.
On the same day, the Strategic Session “Commonwealth Design: New Aspects of Cooperation” was held.
The head of the Regional Public Organization “St. Petersburg Turkmen Society for Support and Association of Citizens for the Exchange and Development of Creative Intellectual Heritage “Mekan” Nurgeldi Seyidov was invited to the session “The Role of Associations in the Development of Interregional and Intersectoral Cooperation in Light Industry”. The exhibition "Legprom CIS+" became part of the program of the CIS International Economic Forum, which will be held in Moscow on March 28-29.
