Turkmenistan will provide additional scholarships to Afghan students receiving higher education in the field of energy and transport in Turkmen universities and will reduce prices for electricity exported to Afghanistan. This was discussed at the meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov with the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Abdullah Abdullah, the Twitter of the office of the Afghan Executive Head said. Also discussed were opportunities to expand trade relations and partnership in the field of transit of goods and energy resources. The head of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry invited Abdullah to pay an official visit to Ashgabat.
