Photo contest in climate in Central Asia is prolonged till August 1

Photo contest “50 images of climate change – time to act”, announced by the Climate Adaptation and Mitigation Program for the Aral Sea Basin (CAMP4ASB) is prolonged till August 1. The contest among photographers - professionals, fans, journalists and representatives of mass-media from Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, is devoted to the climate change theme in Central Asia. «But the main thing is human! ». Organizers offer participants of the contest not only to reflect over measures on prevention of climate change, adaptation to changing natural realities, but also to see behind them people thanks to whom they become possible. The photo contest is divided into three categories. One of them is devoted to beauty and force of the female nature - roles of women in sustainable use of natural resources in the conditions of changing climate. Two others - measures on prevention of climate change and agriculture adaptation. To apply for participation is possible on the website.
