The International Conference on Tourism Development in Turkmenistan will be held in March
The international conference "Main directions and potential of tourism development in Turkmenistan" is scheduled to be held in March. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Mahrijemal Mammedova, reporting at a meeting of the Turkmen government on Friday on what major humanitarian events are scheduled for the first month of spring.
A press conference on the topic "Turkmen land - the center of ancient cultures" will also be organized, to which foreign journalists are invited.
During the month, screenings of feature films and documentaries dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Pyragy and the proclamation of the city of Anau as the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024 are planned.
Traditional celebrations will be held in the country in honor of International Women's Day on March 8 and the National Spring Holiday. The arrival of Novruz will be greeted with mass events at festive venues in front of the regional "Türkmeniń ak öýi" and in the city of Arkadag, as well as at the main "spring meadow" - "Nowruz ýaýlasy".
