The head of the France-Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce held meetings in Ashgabat
A meeting with the head of the France-Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce, Marie-Helene Berard, was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on Friday. Deputy Foreign Minister Mahri Bashimova noted the positive dynamics of the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries. At the same time, the potential for building up Turkmenistan's business partnership with French companies in the field of energy, oil and gas complex, transport and healthcare was emphasized.
Special attention was paid to the prospects of cooperation in the water sector of Turkmenistan with a focus on the conservation and rational use of water resources, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reports.
Mahri Bashimova spoke in favor of the active participation of the France- Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce in the intensification of trade and economic cooperation.
Marie-Helene Berard also met with Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan Mergen Gurdov today. They discussed ways to expand contacts between the chambers at a new stage of interaction.
In September last year, during a visit to France, the official delegation of Turkmenistan held a major meeting with French companies that are members of the International Association MEDEF-International.
