Online trainings have been organized for employees of the Turkmenbashi seaport


As part of the joint action plan concluded between the Turkmen Logistics Association and the Turkmenbashi Seaport, the Association, together with CILT Central Asia, with the support of USAID TCA, organizes online trainings for managers and employees of port departments and terminals with the participation of international experts.
The first training on "Maritime management and leadership: creating value in shipping" took place on February 16, according to the Association's website.
During the training, the participants analyzed global trends in maritime logistics that have the greatest impact on the operation of modern ports, the functions and role of port management, optimization of operations and improvement of efficiency. They also discussed the integration of maritime cargo operations into supply chains, the management of maritime cargo flows, and innovative technologies that can radically change maritime logistics in the coming years. Real cases and situations from the experience of major ports of the world were given as examples of successful leadership.
The next training is scheduled for March 12. His topic is the fundamentals of marine supply chain management, elements and concepts of improvement.
According to the results of the trainings, participants will be awarded personalized certificates of the international standard of the Royal Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT).
