The Air Transport Agency of Turkmenistan demonstrates active dynamics of indicators
The Air Transport Agency - "Türkmenhowaýollary" - continues to hold the lead among the sectors of the transport and communications complex in increasing the volume of services provided for a number of months. Civil aviation is making up for lost time during the pandemic and is actively expanding its flight geography, demonstrating a trajectory of soaring performance after forced downtime. The other day, the first flight of Turkmen Airlines on the regular Ashgabat-Kuala Lumpur route was solemnly welcomed in the capital of Malaysia.
The growth rate for the provision of services in January by the “Türkmenhowaýollary” Agency amounted to 162.8%. The road transport and shipping sectors are almost on par: “Türkmenawtoulaglary” - 106.8%, “Türkmendeňizderýaýollary” - 106.2%. "Türkmendemirýollary" showed 103.8%. The communication agency “Türkmenaragatnaşyk” has good dynamics – 110.5%.
The results of the activities of institutions in the supervised sphere for the first month of 2024 were reported at a government meeting on Friday, February 16, by the Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers, Mammetkhan Chakyev.
He noted that during the reporting period, the growth rate for the execution of work and provision of services in general in the transport and communications complex amounted to 116.1%.
