During the conversation, attention was also paid to issues of interaction in terms of expert support of the UNECE in the field of solar and wind energy, development and implementation of advanced technologies for energy storage and transmission.

The Global Methane Forum 2024 (GFM 2024), to be held in Geneva, Switzerland, on March 18-20, will bring together the world's leading experts and industry leaders to mobilize action for further progress in reducing methane emissions. The Forum is organized by the Global Methane Initiative and the UNECE in partnership with the Global Methane Center and the Climate and Clean Air Coalition.
