A meeting with French actor Edouard Montooth took place at the Turkmen diplomatic mission in France
Ambassador of Turkmenistan to France Maksat Charyev met with producer of the company “Monde et Media TV” Jean-Marie Laronze and French theater and film actor Edouard Montooth.
According to the website of the Turkmen diplomatic department, the parties discussed the prospects for further cooperation in the field of film industry and art between Turkmenistan and France, and considered the possibilities of implementing projects that would contribute to the prosperity of the film industry and cultural exchange between the two countries.
This meeting was organized as a continuation of the participation of Laronze and Montut in the I International Film Festival “Dawn of Arkadag”, which was held on October 14-15, 2023 in the city of Arkadag.
In this regard, the guests highly appreciated the level of organization of the event. Jean-Marie Laronze noted that Turkmenistan could become an ideal place for meetings and cooperation between film industry figures from Asia and Europe, continuing the traditions of the Great Silk Road.
