Construction of a new border crossing point «Uchkurgon» has begun in Uchkurgan district of Namangan region (Uzbekistan), which will connect the republic with Kyrgyzstan. This is reported by the National News Agency of Uzbekistan.

The border customs post under construction is located on the 10th kilometer of the Uchurgan-Madaniyat road. Relevant work is also underway at the Kengsai customs post, located in the village of Kiziltuu in the Navkent district of Jalalabad region in Kyrgyzstan.

The head of Namangan region, Shavkat Abdurazzokov, gave relevant instructions related to the rapid and high-quality execution of construction works.
