The confectionery company “Balam” was highly appreciated at a specialized exhibition in Moscow
The confectionery company from Turkmenistan “Balam” participated in the 31st international exhibition of food, drinks and raw materials for their production “Prodexpo-2024”, which was held from February 5 to 9, 2024 in Moscow.
Five products of the Balam company were awarded gold medals at the “Best Product 2024” competition, which was held as part of the above-mentioned exhibition.
In particular, the competition jury highly appreciated such products of the Turkmen enterprise as two types of sesame cookies “Zaman” - classic and cocoa-flavored, a croissant with cream chocolate filling, puff cookies “Ýürek” with vanilla flavor, as well as puff cookies “Balam” "with vanilla filling.
The Balam company, founded in 2016 in Ashgabat, is one of the best confectionery enterprises in Turkmenistan. It has gone from a small workshop for the production of bakery and confectionery products, with a productivity of 100 kg per shift, to a large production enterprise capable of producing 2.5 thousand tons of products per month.
The company's assortment includes over 100 types of products - products from puff pastry, shortcrust pastry, baked goods, a variety of pastries, cakes, and oriental sweets. And this list is regularly updated with new products.
The products are manufactured using high-quality equipment from the world-famous Swiss company RONDO and meet all safety requirements.
In 2016, the company successfully passed laboratory certification and received a certificate of compliance with the requirements.
“We thoroughly care about quality and check every technological stage to be sure of the quality, freshness and safety of sweets,” Balam assures.
