A new head of the Ministry of Health has been appointed in Turkmenistan

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov appointed Myrat Mammedov Minister of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan. Having worked until that moment as deputy minister, he replaced Atageldi Germanov in this post, who was relieved of his post due to the transition to another job.

The head of state signed the decrees on this at a government meeting on Friday, February 9, as reported in the news release of the national State Television.

Myrat Mammedov has extensive medical and managerial experience, he headed various medical institutions and in 2022 was appointed Deputy Minister of Health and Medical Industry.
