India's largest pharmaceutical company, Sun Pharma, intends to open a
representative office in Turkmenistan, as well as a joint venture for the production
of medical drugs in our country. This was discussed at a meeting at the Sun
Pharma office in Minsk with Turkmen Ambassador to Belarus Nazarguly

India's largest pharmaceutical company, Sun Pharma, intends to open a representative office in Turkmenistan, as well as a joint venture for the production of medical drugs in our country. This was discussed at a meeting at the Sun Pharma office in Minsk with Turkmen Ambassador to Belarus Nazarguly Shagulyev on Friday, February 9.

The meeting was initiated by the Belarusian representative office of the Indian company, on behalf of which Narayanar Subramonia Air spoke. As part of the intensification of Indian-Turkmen trade and economic cooperation, the parties discussed promising areas of mutually beneficial cooperation.

A representative of the Indian company spoke about Sun Pharma’s desire to strengthen its position in the Turkmen market and its readiness to organize supplies of medications used in cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology, gynecology, psychiatry, etc. The possibility of opening a representative office of Sun Pharma in Turkmenistan was also considered, as well as creating an Indian-Turkmen company for the production of medical drugs in our country.

Shagulyev informed Ayer about the legislative support for foreign investment in Turkmenistan, which creates a favorable climate for attracting foreign investment, and invited a delegation of Indian pharmaceutical companies to visit our country to discuss specific investment proposals and partnership agreements.
