The former rector of TSU became the Minister of Education of Turkmenistan
Serdar Berdimuhamedov dismissed Gurbangul Ataeva from the post of Minister of Education of Turkmenistan in connection with her transfer to another job and appointed Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva, who had previously worked as the rector of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly, to this post.
The President of Turkmenistan signed decrees on this at an extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, at which the results for 2023 were summed up. The documents were made public in a news release by the National State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.
New Minister of Education Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva is a lawyer by profession. She began her career as a teacher at TSU, was the Deputy Minister of Education for higher and secondary vocational educational institutions, and since 2017 has headed the Magtymguly Turkmen State University.
