Qatar has reached the final of the Asian Cup

The Qatar national team defeated Iran in the semi-finals of the Asian Cup with a score of 2:3. Goals for the Qataris were scored by Jassem Abdulsallam in the 17th minute, Akram Afif in the 43rd and Ali Almoes in the 82nd from the penalty spot. The Iranians responded with goals from Serdar Azmoun in the 4th minute and Alireza Jahanbakhsh in the 51st from the penalty spot.

The national teams of Qatar and Jordan will meet in the final of the Asian Cup. The match will take place on February 10.

The Qataris are the current winners of the tournament — in 2019 they beat Japan in the final (3:1).
