Exit poll: Aliyev leads in the presidential elections of Azerbaijan with 93.9% of the vote

Incumbent President Ilham Aliyev is in the lead in the early presidential elections
of Azerbaijan with 93.9% of the vote, with deputy of parliament and self-
nominated Zahid Oruj in second place with 1.8%. Such data was obtained by
experts of the League for the Protection of Citizens' Labor Rights based on the
results of an exit poll, which they conducted jointly with the American

The interviewers interviewed more than 63 thousand citizens at 5,000 polling stations across the country.

Seven candidates are running for the post of head of state, including the current president, who is running for this post for the fifth time.
