The country's tourism revenue increased 17% to $54.3 billion, with average nightly visitor spending of $99. Ersoy also noted that Turkey has revised its strategy by expanding the range of tourism products.

“We see the positive impact of diversification of tourism products on average length of stay when we offer short-term products such as international events, sports tournaments and festivals,” the minister emphasized.

This year, the country predicts a further increase in the flow of tourists to 60 million and an increase in tourism revenues to 60 billion dollars.
