Asian Football Cup: Qatar beats Uzbekistan in the quarterfinals

On February 3, the match of the 1/4 finals of the Asian Cup took place, where the national teams of Qatar and Uzbekistan met. The game at the El Bayt Stadium in Qatar ended with a score of 1:1 in regular and extra time. The Qataris were stronger in the penalty shootout (3:2).
The hosts of the tournament opened the scoring in the 27th minute thanks to a goal by Hassan Al-Haydos, who struck from an acute angle and carried the ball through the hands of goalkeeper Utkir Yusupov. The Uzbek team was able to equalize the score in the 59th minute with Odiljon Khamrobekov's goal from the right flank.
In the semifinals, Qatar will face Iran, which beat Japan 2-1 in the quarterfinals.
