Turkmen scientists are studying innovative approaches to agriculture

Turkmen scientists are focused on innovative agriculture by studying the possibilities of using the genetic potential of crops and methods of enhancing the effectiveness of fertilizers.
One of them is microbiologist Khudaiberdi Muhammedov, who received two patents from the State Service for Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan for his scientific inventions in the field of agricultural production in the soil and climatic conditions of Turkmenistan.
As the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reports, the patent “Combined method of treating soil and agricultural crops with environmental additives” implies the development of a method for maintaining, restoring and enhancing soil fertility.
The soil treated with the resulting bioadditive allows you to get more yield than with traditional cultivation, improving the mechanical and chemical composition of the soil. In this case, wheat differed in grain density, and flour from the resulting harvest differed in gluten.
The bioadditive also saves water, which in turn ensures a quick return on production costs. The bioadditive uses the mineral base of zeolite or bentonite as raw materials. It is also resistant to soil salinity with the lowest humus levels.
The study was carried out together with UIET member Evgeniy Barabashov on land plots in Geoktepe on the territory of the “Sahabatly” economic society.
Experiments were also carried out on the cotton fields of the Ak Suw farm in the Ak Bugday etrap of the Ahal region, with the oilseed plant rape, as well as within the vineyards.
The second patent, “Biological additive in poultry feed to increase productivity and resistance to infectious diseases,” is intended for the poultry industry. An environmentally friendly product helps poultry effectively cope with stress, diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, and also increase its resistance to other diseases.
