Indian Foreign Ministry appoints a New Envoy to Turkmenistan
Azar A.H. Khan has been appointed to the post of the next Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Turkmenistan, says the press release from the Ministry of the External Affairs of India. To date, he served as Consul General of India to Istanbul, Turkey, and previously he headed the diplomatic missions in Libya, the Republic of Malta. Diplomatic career of Mr. Azar A.H. Khan is marked by various high positions in the structural departments of the foreign ministry, in Indian missions in Brunei, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine, Egypt. Ambassador Khan holds a post graduate degree from the University of Delhi. He speaks English, Arabic and has basic knowledge of German and Russian.
