A new international trade and logistics center opened in Kazakhstan


A new international trade and logistics center began operating on the border of Kazakhstan and China. This was reported on the website of the “Turkmenavtoulaglary” Agency.
It was built by Dostyk Storage company together with the State Revenue Committee of the Republic.
The logistics center occupies an area of 13.5 hectares, of which 3.5 hectares are warehouse premises and infrastructure, and 10 hectares are truck parking.
The project, worth over 2.8 billion tenge, is aimed at developing cross-border logistics infrastructure and increasing the capacity of the Alakol road crossing.
Thus, the capacity of the Alakol customs post of the Dostyk customs will increase from 200 to 600 trucks per day, and cargo turnover from 4 thousand to 12 thousand tons per day.
