Fashion house Asman will present its collection at the Oriental Fashion Show in Paris
The Turkmen fashion house Asman will take part in the next edition of the Oriental Fashion Show, which will take place in Paris this Sunday, January 21. The event will take place in the historical halls of the Shangri-La Palace on the banks of the Seine, opposite the Eiffel Tower.
What does it mean for Turkmen stylists to show their work in the fashion capital of the world? No, not a lucky chance that fell by chance, but a natural logic of development and professional growth. Turkmen fashion is becoming a phenomenon that cannot be ignored in the global fashion industry. And an example of this is the Asman house.
This brand is well known in Turkmenistan, and not only for the ready-to-wear deluxe direction, but also for what is called high fashion. Asman presented its exclusive collections in Dubai, Shanghai, and also at the International Fashion Week Aspara Fashion Week in Kazakhstan. And so the silk road of the fashion house led to Paris!
What our designers intend to take from French aesthetes is still a secret. According to the terms of the show, collections are kept in the strictest confidence until they appear on the catwalk. The founder of Asman, Myakhri Orazmuradova, shared with us only the name of the collection - “Zenan”. And it was the spiritualized, sublime image of a woman, covered in the romance of oriental legends, the kind of women for whom they perform feats, that became the concept for the outfits developed by designer Murad Amanov.
But what there is no doubt about is that the key element of the decor will be patterned hand embroidery in the national style. Asman is distinguished by a careful creative reinterpretation of traditions in a modern presentation and skillful technology that has become a trademark of the brand. To create the “Parisian” collection, even the fabrics were hand-dyed, not to mention the rest of the process. Therefore, each dress tells its own amazing story...
By the way, Myakhri Orazmuradova received an official invitation to the Oriental Fashion Show from the founder of “oriental shows”, president of the association Route De La Soie Et Al-Andalus Ind Zhudar last year. But she didn’t rush, but decided to prepare a very special collection, investing it with a special message.
The Oriental Fashion Show goes beyond just a fashion show and becomes a true tribute to designers whose undeniable talent, artistic creativity and rich heritage are freely expressed through unique and authentic collections, transporting audiences to the magic of the fabulous Orient.
Moreover, the Oriental Fashion Show becomes a symbol of peace, brotherhood and cultural diversity. The event is an opportunity for the public to join in a celebration of creativity and unity, where fashion becomes a means of mutual understanding, a universal language, a carrier of messages of peace. This year, stylists from Egypt, Indonesia, Morocco, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan are participating. Representatives of the Ashgabat fashion house and the “Golli” fashion house also went from Turkmenistan to the show in Paris with their collections.
