During a government meeting on Friday, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree "On planned measures to strengthen cybersecurity in Turkmenistan."

The document provides for an integrated approach to the training of highly professional specialists in the field of IT technologies, strengthening cybersecurity, which includes a system of measures implemented at the infrastructure, network and software levels.

Mammethan Chakiyev, Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers, also reported to the head of state on the joint work carried out in partnership with UNDP to create an "Electronic Government" system - public administration based on electronic means of processing, transmitting and distributing information.
