Ways of Turkmen-Italian cooperation discussed in Rome
The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Rome, Toyly Komekov, met on Monday with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, Edmondo Cirielli.
During the conversation, the parties stressed the importance of the visit of the President of Turkmenistan to Italy in November 2019 to expand cooperation and discussed the promotion of agreements between the leaders of the two countries.
The interlocutors also discussed further measures to strengthen bilateral partnership in the context of international organizations and increase cooperation in the sectors of economy, science, culture and trade. In particular, the parties discussed the issues of organizing inter-ministerial consultations, joint events with the participation of heads of sectoral departments, strengthening the legal framework and holding cultural events.
