A number of scientific conferences for postgraduate and doctoral students will be held in Turkmenistan


"The place of highly qualified scientists in strengthening the scientific and technical potential of a powerful Homeland", "Training of highly qualified scientists is a guarantee of the socio-economic development of a powerful Homeland" – under these names, Turkmenistan plans to hold scientific and practical conferences for graduate students, doctoral students and applicants for academic degrees.
This information was announced by Gulyalek Annanepesova, head of the Postgraduate Department of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, in an interview for the newspaper Turkmenistan.
According to the Candidate of Philological Sciences, the possibility of conducting training sessions on "Issues of improving the preparation of dissertations", "Modern solutions for writing scientific papers", "Ways of writing scientific articles for scientific journals" together with universities and research institutes of the country is also being considered.
In addition, in order to improve the writing of dissertations, improve the scientific base, and train well-trained researchers, the possibility of holding various seminars with the participation of applicants and applicants and their supervisors is being considered.
Recently, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree approving the procedure for admission of applicants for postgraduate and doctoral programs, as well as for applicants for academic degrees.
Oil production at the Gumdag field increased by 15%
Employees of one of the oldest deposits in Turkmenistan reported on the results of activities for the extraction of black gold at the Gumdaga wells over the past year. It follows from the figures given that, in general, oil production at the field increased by 15.5% compared to 2022, the Turkmenistan newspaper reports.
In total, the specialists were able to produce about 580.8 thousand tons of oil, exceeding the production plan by 12.6%. In the first month of the new year, Turkmen oilmen plan to increase production not only of black gold, but also of natural gas.
Last year, the production of natural gas here amounted to 4.4 million cubic meters, which is higher than planned. Currently, mining at one of the oldest fields in the country is important in terms of the introduction of advanced technologies to extract valuable fuel resources.
