Pre-election campaigning in the media for the Russian presidential elections will begin on February 17 and will last until March 14.

This was announced by the head of the Russian Central Election Commission, Ella Pamfilova, RIA Novosti reports.

She also emphasized that, in accordance with the requirements of the law, campaign materials, leaflets, banners, etc. can be distributed by a candidate if they are pre-paid by him from the election fund and submitted to the election commission in advance.
