Entrepreneur sustainability rating will be introduced in Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan intends to introduce a sustainability rating for entrepreneurs. This issue was discussed during a meeting between President of the Republic Shavkat Mirziyoyev and entrepreneurs, the National News Agency of Uzbekistan reports.
As part of this rating, representatives of the country's business circles will be divided into 4 categories based on 23 criteria. Thus, the duration of activity, the level of profitability, payment discipline, participation in providing employment to the population and the amount of wages will be taken into account.
The rating will be formed on the basis of data from tax and judicial authorities, and justice authorities.
Entrepreneurs with a high rating will be exempt from all tax audits, and the VAT amount will be refunded within 24 hours, for other types of taxes - within three days.
Businessmen will also have the opportunity to offset VAT by customs and tax authorities when importing and selling goods.
The deadline for payment of the cost of state property and land acquired at auction will be extended from 3 to 5 years. In case of a one-time down payment of at least 15%, no annual interest will be charged on the balance.
In the future, subsidies, benefits and preferences will be provided based on the above rating. This will create an incentive for entrepreneurs to join the ranks of the most disciplined business people and gain more opportunities.
It will also allow entrepreneurs to obtain reliable information about their partners.
The Entrepreneur Sustainability Rating platform is planned to be launched by March 1. Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted the important role of the Public Council for Support of Entrepreneurship in the implementation and ensuring the effectiveness of this rating.
