The first conference on TESOL methodology


"Teaching English to native speakers of other languages" will be held in Ashgabat. This topic was given to the conference, which will be held on January 8 at the International University of Humanities and Development. Representatives of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and U.S. Ambassador to the country Matthew Klimow will take part in the opening of the event.
The conference will be attended by 250 Turkmen teachers of secondary schools, educational centers and higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan, as well as American experts. During the meeting, it is expected to discuss advanced methods and technologies in language learning and exchange views on the most relevant teaching methods.
TESOL is an abbreviation, translated as "teaching English to native speakers of other languages", and is used for the certification of language teachers of the same name. TESOL practices are widespread all over the world, and specialization is one of the most in demand. In 1966, the TESOL International Association was founded, based in Alexandria, Virginia (USA).
