The newspaper "Turkmen Gundogary" holds a contest in honor of the year "The Storehouse of the mind of Magtymguly Pyragy"
In honor of the announcement of 2024 in Turkmenistan as the year of "The Storehouse of the Mind of Magtymguly Pyragy" and the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great poet, the editorial office of the regional newspaper "Turkmen Gundogary" (Lebap Velayat) launches a creative competition «Magtymguly sözlär tili türkmeniň».
The competition is held jointly with the Velayat Association of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan, the Velayat Committee of the Democratic Party of the country, as well as the regional council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan.
The competition is aimed at popularizing Magtymguly’s creativity among the younger generation, patriotic education of young people, and the formation of socially significant qualities among young people.
Interested persons can submit articles, short stories, and poetic works that reveal the poet's philosophy to the competition.
Applications are accepted until December 25, 2024. They must be sent to the address: 42 S.A.Niyazov Street, Turkmenabad city, editorial office of the newspaper "Turkmen Gundogary" or by e-mail turkmengundogary-gazeti@sanly.tm .
The results of the competition will be announced on the eve of the New Year holidays. The best works will be published on the pages of the newspaper "Turkmen Gundogary".
