Vladimir Putin is determined to continue a constructive dialogue with Turkmenistan


Russian President Vladimir Putin said in his New Year’s greetings to his Turkmen counterpart Serdar Berdimuhamedov that Moscow expects close and constructive cooperation. The letter addressed to the head of state was published by the country's state news agency.
“I hope that we will continue to work closely and constructively together on topical issues of the bilateral and international agenda for the benefit of our friendly peoples, in the interests of strengthening security and stability in the Central Asian and Caspian regions,” the letter reads.
Putin also noted the dynamic development of Turkmen-Russian relations in the spirit of deep strategic partnership in the past year.
In a letter to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Vladimir Putin expressed confidence in further building up fruitful cooperation in all areas, emphasizing the successes in the development of interparliamentary ties, to which National Leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov makes a great personal contribution.
