The VII International motor rally of the Intergovernmental Council of Road Builders will take place on the territory of Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan


The VII International motor rally, organized by the Intergovernmental Council of Road Builders, will take place on the territory of Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. This is reported on the website of the Intergovernmental Council of Road Builders.
The rally will take place from April 28 to May 8, 2024. Its length is 2500 km.
The route of the rally runs along the highways Baku – Guba – the border of Azerbaijan with Russia – Derbent – Makhachkala – Astrakhan – the border of Russia with Kazakhstan – Atyrau – Beineu – the border of Kazakhstan with Uzbekistan – Nukus – Khiva.
Three international conferences will be held within the framework of the international motor rally — in the cities of Baku, Makhachkala and Nukus, a mobile international seminar on the movement of the main group of riders will be held. Local meetings with the road community are also planned, aimed at popularizing the road business, design, construction and operation of highways, bridge structures.
Each country hosting the participants of the rally organizes a welcome program for them upon entry. In particular, the participants will visit historical sites, cultural and technical facilities, including complexes of intelligent transport systems, vehicle weighing points, border crossing points, and road construction facilities.
The International motor Rally is held by the decision of the Intergovernmental Council of Road Workers, which were adopted at the 46th and 47th meetings of the Council. The meetings were held on April 24, 2023 in Dushanbe (Republic of Tajikistan) and on November 15, 2023 in Astana (Republic of Kazakhstan).
