Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty congratulated the people of Turkmenistan on the New Year
Where the wisdom of elders and the innovative views of the younger generation are combined, there is no unattainable goal, the National Leader of the Turkmen people said in his New Year's address to his compatriots. Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan attaches great importance to youth initiatives.
“The example of elders is the principle of life for the younger generation. Continuity of generations is a connection between eras. It is gratifying that the noble deeds we have begun are being successfully continued by young people. This year, our people worked fruitfully in unity for the further prosperity of the country. The goals were achieved, major projects were successfully implemented,” the statement published on the website of the state news agency TDH says.
The head of the Khalk Maslakhaty called the grand opening of the city of Arkadag in June of this year an outstanding event, in the construction of which the ideas, skills and abilities of young people were widely used. “I would like to proudly note that they have worked tirelessly to implement a digital system at all smart city sites.”
This year, the construction of the second phase of the city of Arkadag has started, within which, along with residential buildings, much attention will be paid to the construction of industrial facilities, where production facilities that meet environmental requirements will be established. “These products are planned to be exported to world markets, thousands of new jobs will be created.”
Recalling that several educational institutions were opened and put into operation in the new city this year, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that as part of the second phase of construction, a new complex of buildings of the Agricultural University will be built. Agricultural research institutes will also be built, and production will be established on a scientific basis in various areas of agriculture - farming, livestock breeding, and sericulture.
“We always place great trust in the younger generation. Our youth consults with the older generation in all matters. We will continue the noble work of educating them in the future.”
Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty congratulated everyone on the upcoming New Year, wishing everyone good health, prosperity, and happiness to every family. “May the New Year bring prosperity, abundance and happiness to all of you! May all your goals be achieved in the New Year!”
