Chairman of the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan (FTT) Eziz Dovletov has been appointed Vice-President of the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) until 2027.

This great news for Turkmen sports came from Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, where the congress of the Asian Tennis Federation was held. Thus, Eziz Dovletov joined the Board of Directors of the Asian Tennis Federation.

41 delegates out of 53 voted for the candidacy of the representative of Turkmenistan.

When appointing Eziz Dovletov as vice president, the new head of the organization took into account the organizational skills and professional experience of the tennis player.

At the congress of the Asian Tennis Federation, it was also decided to elect Eziz Dovletov to the committee of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) for the Masters tournaments for 2024-2025. This committee is responsible for holding the most prestigious tournaments.

Eziz Dovletov, 33, is a master of sports, winner of the Davis Cup Group IV of the Asia and Oceania zone, winner of international and national tournaments.

From 2018 to 2021, he was the General Secretary, from 2021 to mid-2022 – the vice-chairman of the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan. In July 2022, he became the head of this sports structure.
