The American business mission will visit Ashgabat on December 5-7

The US-Turkmenistan Business Council (USTBC) will hold its annual business mission in Ashgabat this week, December 5-7. The mission will include roundtable discussions with a number of senior Turkmenistan government officials, as well as interaction with the US Embassy, USTBC said.
The US-Turkmenistan business forum will be held at the capital's Yyldyz Hotel, where representatives of the business circles of the two countries will discuss the extensive agenda of bilateral cooperation. The American delegation, led by US- Turkmenistan Business Council Executive Director Eric Stewart, will include representatives from companies such as Climate Compass, Case New Holland, Honeywell, John Deere, Palo Alto Networks, Visa, and Westport Trading Europe Ltd.
In April of this year, a delegation of top managers from a number of American companies visited Turkmenistan, accompanied by Eric Stewart. Then the members of the delegation, led by the executive director of USTBC, were received by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The Turkmenistan-US Business Council was created in 2008 at the proposal of ex- President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, voiced at a meeting with US business circles in New York. This non-profit organization, headquartered in Washington, promotes commercial relations between Turkmenistan and the United States.
