An international conference on cultural tourism of the Turkic world is being held in Shusha
The international scientific conference "Prospects of cultural tourism of the Turkic world" is being held in Shusha.
According to the Report, the purpose of the event, held by the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan and the Organization of Turkic States (OTG), is to exchange views on the creation of joint tourism products and routes of the Turkic-speaking states, as well as to discuss prospects for cooperation in this area.
The event is attended by representatives of official structures, experts on the cultural heritage of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Hungary.
Representatives of the OTG member countries made presentations on the topic "Turning the nomadic lifestyle of Turkic-speaking countries into a tourist product". It was noted that the nomadic lifestyle, which is on the verge of extinction, still persists among the Turkic peoples, including in Azerbaijan.
Within the framework of the event, the presentation of dishes of the national cuisine of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan took place.
