The Speaker of the Turkmen Parliament accepted the credentials of the Algerian Ambassador
The Chairman of the Mejlis, Dunyagozel Gulmanova, received the credentials of the new Ambassador of the Algerian People’s Democratic Republic to Turkmenistan, Amar Belani, on Monday, November 27.
On behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the Speaker of the Parliament congratulated the Envoy on the start of the diplomatic mission and wished him great success in his responsible work, familiarizing him with the main directions of the state strategy of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to the establishment of inter- parliamentary ties in order to promote the strengthening of friendship ties between Turkmenistan and Algeria.
The Interlocutors noted the great potential for deepening bilateral relations and noted the importance of intensifying mutually beneficial cooperation, both in the bilateral format and within the framework of international organizations, primarily the UN, the Turkmen State Television news outlet reported.
