The Customs Service is studying the methodology of e-learning for personnel training
Within the framework of the Border Management Program in Central Asia (BOMCA-10), funded by the European Union, a national seminar on the implementation of the e-learning methodology and the use of the e-learning platform was held. The participants of the seminar were employees of the Training Center at the State Customs Service, as well as representatives of the Border Institute, the State Veterinary Service of the Ministry of Agriculture, the State Plant Quarantine Service of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Turkmen Agricultural University.
During the seminar, the participants got acquainted with the best practices of the EU member states on the implementation of e-learning systems based on presentations by international experts. Participants received theoretical and practical skills in the design, development, implementation and evaluation of e-learning modules. Recommendations have been developed for the preparation of e-learning modules in educational institutions of customs and border agencies, the website of the Customs Service of Turkmenistan reports.
The work on improving the curricula and filling them with new methods and forms of training at the Training Center of the State Customs Service is ongoing, the department noted. Digitalization of the educational space makes it possible to exchange knowledge in a broader format. The staff of the Training Center often hold virtual meetings, conferences, remote lessons with the involvement of young employees from all regional customs offices at the same time.
The participation of the staff of the Training Center in such seminars, forums, and conferences contributes to the acquisition of international experience, as well as has a positive impact on improving the effectiveness of training.
