The collection of the Turkmen designer will be shown in St. Petersburg at the forum "Commonwealth of Fashion"

The International Forum of Light Industry and Fashion Industry "Commonwealth of Fashion" will be held in St. Petersburg on November 9-10, the press service of the secretariat of the Council of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly reports.
The events will be held at the headquarters of the IPA CIS — the Tauride Palace. Part of the program will be the display of collections of famous designers from the CIS countries.
"On November 10, fashion designers from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan will present their collections," the release says.
Turkmenistan will be presented by designer Selby Sultanova, who boldly experiments with national motifs, effortlessly combining the luxury of eastern ethnicity with urban casual style and youth trends.

The business program of the forum will include 20 round tables and a plenary session on key industry tracks: economics, production, design, personnel, cultural traditions.
The event is organized by the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, as well as the Eurasian Women's Forum.
Last year, the forum was held for the first time and aroused great interest among professionals in the light industry and fashion.
The forum had practical results: a number of agreements were signed at the event and at its conclusion, designers from the Commonwealth countries are now more widely represented in the retail areas of St. Petersburg.
