An additional complex of medical center buildings for 400 beds will be built at the Archman sanatorium
The Ministry of Health and Medical Industry will enter into a contract with the Nahal business company for the design and construction of an additional complex of buildings for the medical center and the reconstruction of the previous buildings in the Archman sanatorium.
A decree on this was signed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at a government meeting held on Saturday. According to the document, the new complex of buildings will be designed for 400 places. The contractor also undertakes to equip it with modern equipment and improve the surrounding areas, engineering work to connect to utility and communication systems.
Construction will begin in November, and the facility is scheduled to be fully operational in October 2026.
The Archman sanatorium, located in the Baherden district of the Ahal region, is one of the most popular health resorts in the country. Every year, the number of citizens coming here to restore their health is growing, which requires work on its major reconstruction and modernization, the TDH material notes.
Recently, in September of this year, the head of the Khalk Maslahaty assessed the activities of the Archman sanatorium and plans for its reconstruction by visiting the hydrotherapy resort. With the construction of a new building, the number of beds in the sanatorium will increase to 1 thousand 320.
