Turkmenistan and Türkiye signed 13 bilateral documents on cooperation
As a result of the Turkmen-Turkish high-level talks held in Ankara on Thursday, October 26, 13 documents on bilateral cooperation were signed in the presence of Presidents Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The following were signed at the intergovernmental level,: Agreement on cooperation in the field of technical regulation, standardization, conformity assessment, accreditation and metrology; Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Meteorology; Agreement on cooperation in the field of plant protection and quarantine; Agreement on co-production of audiovisual services; Action plan for cooperation in the field of youth policy for 2024-2026 for the implementation of the Agreement on cooperation in the field of youth and sports.
The documents include an Agreement on cooperation in the field of culture between the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey and the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan; Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of research and development in the field of transport and information technology between the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey and the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan; Memorandum of Understanding between the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Turkey and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan on cooperation in the field of higher education; Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of media between the Public Relations Office of the President of the Republic of Turkey and the State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography of Turkmenistan.
The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan entered into a Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of the Turkey-Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum.
The Department for Development and Support of Small and Medium Enterprises of the Republic of Turkey and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan adopted an Action Plan for the development of cooperation in the field of small and medium-sized enterprises.
A Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of human resource management was also signed by the Personnel Directorate of the President of the Republic of Turkey and the Academy of Civil Service under the President of Turkmenistan and a Protocol on Cooperation between the State Archives Directorate under the President of the Republic of Turkey and the Main Archives Directorate under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.
