Turkmenistan will take part in the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the SCO in Bishkek


Khojamyrat Geldimyradov, the Deputy Prime Minister who oversees economic, banking and international financial organizations in the Turkmen government, will represent Turkmenistan at a meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states. The forum will take place on October 26 in Bishkek, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic reports.
The event will also be attended by the heads of government of Belarus, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Mongolia, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, as well as the foreign ministers of India and Pakistan.
On the same day, October 26, meetings of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS and the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will also be held in the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Delegates from the Council of Heads of Government of the SCO member states will also take part in the work of these two forums.
“During the meetings, current issues of interaction and strengthening cooperation between the member countries of the associations will be considered and a number of documents in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres will be signed,” the press release of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan says.
