The President of Turkmenistan has arrived on a working visit to Tajikistan
On Thursday morning, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov left for a two-day working visit to Tajikistan to take part in the 5th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of Central Asian States and a meeting of the Council of the Heads of the Founding States of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea.
The head of state was met by officials at the Dushanbe International Airport. Flags of Central Asian countries were raised on flagpoles and an honor guard was lined up.
It is expected that following the results of the consultative meeting of the heads of State of the region will be подписаны five documents. In addition to the summit meetings, Dushanbe will also host about a dozen other events with the participation of heads of ministries and departments of Central Asian countries, as well as representatives of the private sector.
