Rahmon invited Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia
President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon invited the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to take part in the 5th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, which will be held on September 14, 2023 in Dushanbe.
"I am convinced that the upcoming meeting will help strengthen the process of developing regional cooperation and further strengthening security and stability in our common home - Central Asia," the message of the President of Tajikistan addressed to the head of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan says.
In his message, Emomali Rahmon also expressed deep gratitude to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for the cordiality and hospitality shown in Ashgabat in early August this year, when the Tajik leader participated in a trilateral summit together with the presidents of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
“The trilateral high-level meeting in the capital of Turkmenistan made it possible to discuss the pressing issues of our region in an open and trusting atmosphere,” the message, which was published in the evening newscast of the Turkmen State Radio and Television, says.
