President Serdar Berdimuhamedov relieved Merdan Rozyev from the post of Chairman of the State Corporation "Turkmengeology" in connection with the transfer to another position.

The head of state signed a decree on this at the meeting government on Thursday.

Gurbangeldi Garlyyev has been appointed the new head of SC “Turkmengeology”. The change in the leadership of State Corporation “Turkmengeology” was reported in the evening newscast of the Turkmen State Radio and Television.

Merdan Rozyev has worked as the head of the “Turkmengeology” State Corporation for three years, since July 2020.
